MURILO MARTINS (Head Coach):

Coach Murilo brings over 10 years of competitive coaching experience. His career started in 2001 when he was the Assistant Coach for the University of Fortaleza in Brazil. In 2003 he coached one of the collegiate swimmers to third place at Nationals. During that same period, coach Murilo was the Head Coach for Stella Maris High School. His team won High School State for two consecutive years (2003-2004).

In 2005 Coach Murilo moved to the United States to do an internship at McMinnville Swim Club with his friend and MSC Head Coach Kyle Kimball. In 2006 Murilo was hired as an assistant coach for the McMinnville Swim Club. After 5 years as the primary assistant coach, and having coached every age group in the team, Coach Murilo became the Head Coach in the summer of 2011.

Coach Murilo’s goal is to create a successful team where kids prepare for the challenges of life through competitive swimming.

CAROL MUNDY: (Assistant Coach):

Coach Carol brings over 20 years of coaching and teaching experience. Carol is originally from California where she had her own swim teaching business before moving to Sheridan nine years ago. Carol has been with MSC for nine years now and enjoys working with our younger swimmers. Carol coaches the Mako 1 and Mako 2 groups.
